MODULE 01: PRELAUNCH is the first of four LAUNCHKIT modules and serves as an attempt to help you bring an early stage concept to the next phase. The overall goal is to help your team think through an idea while building capacity and assets along the way. In doing so, it also will provide you with an opportunity to reflect on the viability of this concept. The goal is to answer this question: should we continue to invest additional resources into this project?

This comprehensive guide serves as a walkthrough—it includes all of the information, decision-making frameworks, and worksheets necessary to get you to the next stage of your project development journey.

INTRODUCTION TO LAUNCHKIT

Engaging in a complex project can feel like a major undertaking. There’s a seemingly endless list of decisions to make and tasks to complete. LAUNCHKIT is designed to make the entire process, from start to finish, a less miserable experience. We want to make it easier for you to be passionate about your projects.

So what is LAUNCHKIT?

LAUNCHKIT consists of two components: a DIY toolkit and additional project support options. At its heart, LAUNCHKIT takes all of the knowledge, frameworks, and decision-making models we (as consultants) use and distills them into a series of guides. For some, this go-at-your-own-pace walkthrough can get you to your project goal. For others, this is a great supplement to working with an expert coach or consultant. The insights gained through LAUNCHKIT are designed to help you more efficiently use your time with a consultant, saving you the significant costs associated with a standard discovery process.

NOTE: LAUNCHKIT is NOT a shortcut. Successful projects require time, intention, and diligence. LAUNCHKIT is focused on increasing viability through strategy and decreasing uncertainty (resulting in both risk and stress) through structured knowledge and decision making.
